Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga, Adrienne rekindles the positive relationship with ourselves through plant-based food, sustainability, and wildly loving adventure.
Adrienne received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from North Central College, completed her Yoga Teacher Training certification, Reiki Certification, and studied Ayurvedic Medicine at Mount Madonna Institute with master teachers including Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, Dr. RH Singh, Dr. Sarita Shrestha, Steven Highburger, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Rucha Kelkar, and Dr. Yashashree Mannur. Adrienne offers Ayurvedic nutritional counseling, private yoga, meditation, breathwork and energy healing. Adrienne's purpose is to educate and to inspire her community to live in harmony with all rhythms of life. Adrienne continues to share the love and knowledge passed down to her from her teachers through her classes, workshops, and lifestyle.

What is Ayurveda?
In Sanskrit, Ayurveda translates as the "science of life." This ancient, holistic medical system, which originated in India over 5,000 years ago, still continues to remind us how to lead a more balanced way of life by diving deeper into the understanding of ourselves. The more familiar one can become with their body-type and mind-type, the better he/she will be at knowing what kinds of foods and lifestyle practices are balancing for them.
Ayurveda illustrates that each and every living organism has a specific constitution that is unique and different than the next. The body is made up of three fundamental energies or characteristics, called "doshas," that govern our psychophysiological tendencies. Through the understanding of the doshas, together we will discover which foods, practices, and styles of physical movement are balancing for you depending on your constitution, or mind-body type.
Ayurveda is a lifestyle. It reminds us that daily self-care rituals (e.g. meditating, dancing, retreating) are a way of celebrating the body, celebrating life.
