Things to Do in LA's Arts District

FINDING THE CUTE IN HIDDEN PLACES

Deep in the concrete jungle of Downtown Los Angeles lies the Arts District where industrial-loving adventurers will find large, historic buildings with exposed brick walls, murals, vegan restaurants, ice cream shops, and arcade games. 

Read below to find some of my favorite must-see places to go and get your om-nom on in our beautiful Arts District.

The city is decorated in murals, by both simple and eclectic artists alike.

VAN LEEUWEN ICE CREAM

located at 300 S Sante Fe Ave, Suite R serves a full menu of vegan and classic ice creams.

My plant-based favorites: Planet Earth, made of housemade raw cashew milk and coconut cream, spirulina, and housemade matcha green tea cake... still drooling! Cookies & Cream Caramel Swirl sandwiched between two vegan chocolate chip cookies (pictured below in Amir's hand; his drool and my drool not pictured)

EIGHTYTWO LA

located at 707 E. 4th Pl. features a rotating collection of 50 classic arcade and pinball machines for my inner child!

My favorites: Donkey Kong video game, The Simpsons video game (pictured below), Star Wars Pinball

CAFE GRATITUDE

Vegan organic eats, smoothies, and tonics for my inner hippie.
